Daycare Center and Family Home Forum>How Do I Get This Off??

One of the kids put a sticker on the fridge about 2-3 years ago. I only allow stickers on paper but it was so cute that I left it there. I took it off 2 months ago and now I can't get the residue off! I have tried regular cleaners, goo gone, orange something?, tried a razor blade and nothing. Any idea on how to get it off?

Mr clean magic eraser. My ds did the same thing to my stove, and that was the ONLY thing that worked. Hope it helps!

I have taken sticker residue off with peanut butter. I haven't tried a fridge yet but it worked with other items including clothing! just rub some in real good and then clean it off. hope it works!

Thank you! I will try the baking soda and peanut butter. If that doesn't work then I will pick up the other stuff at the store tonight. Hopefully I can get it off!

is it truly sticker glue residue or is it the dye from the sticker?? I always have luck with goo gone on stickers, if that doesn't work I don't know what would!!! Maybe magic eraser??

I found a old magic eraser in the way back of my cleaner cabinet. It is super old so it worked on some of the other marks but not the big one. I'm thinking it would work if it is new! So I'm going to go out and get another one tonight. It could be dye from the sticker. It is green. I have tried goo gone and it didn't work

Put a nice new fresh shiny sticker on it?
Sorry. A new magic eraser would be my next move too.
If all else fails, I know you used to be able to buy appliance paint but I don't know if it's still available. Maybe you could just paint right over that beast.
