JJ's wonderful baby announcement and following thread got me to thinking....
How big is big?....what is the largest baby you have given birth to?
I will start.
I am five feet tall.
My biggest single birth was 7 lbs 11 oz.
My twins were 6 lbs 15 oz and 6 lbs 13 oz.

My oldest was 7lbs 13 oz and I only gained 15 lbs myself (wore my jeans to and from hospital)
my youngest was 4lbs 9oz and I gained like 70 lbs with him!!! Go figure!!! Neither were early or late...just got horribly sick with my youngest...in and out of hospital the last 2 months before his birth. I got toxemia (?) I think that's what it is called...high blood pressure, major puffiness and bloating and all that fun stuff. Oh, and I am 5'4"

I'm 5'3" - mine were 8lb 8oz and 8lb 10 oz. The smaller baby had the larger head, so I had a really hard time with his birth (24 hours of labor with no drugs for 13 of those). The larger one was a breeze!

I'm 5'2" and my daughter was 8lbs and my son was 7lbs, I barely gained any weight with both of them although with my daughter I was sick the whole nine months. I was extremely lucky with labour though 4hrs with my daughter and 2hrs with my son.

My oldest was 9.5 lbs, natural birth. My youngest was 11 lbs. We had planned a homebirth, but she was also breech and wouldn't flip, so she came out the modern way. I'm pregnant with our third. I hope the weight trend doesn't continue!! - I'm 5'7, 140 lbs, so I looked like I swalllowed a beach ball by the time they were born!

I'm about 5'6 1/2 and my daughter was 8lbs 11oz and was 22 inches long. (27hrs of labor, 3 hrs 40 mins was pushing. No meds for the 1st 13hrs, trying to go w/o meds, but by then I was exhausted and needed something)
My son was only 20 inches long and weighed 10lbs 12oz. Labor lasted only about 9hrs and only about 30 mins of pushing. Go figure: )

This is fun!
DD #1: 8 lbs. 0 oz.
DS #2: 10 lbs. 1.5 oz.
DD #3: 8 lbs. 3 oz.

I'm 5'6" and medium build. I gained a ton with #1, more with #2 and about 12 pounds with #3. All were very quick births, under 4 hours, no drugs. This was a long time ago

Well, if we're saying our own height and weight then maybe this should be listed under the member's only forum!

I don't have any kids yet, I need to enjoy the married life with cats first! My sisters have a total of 5 boys and 1 girl between the ages of eight months (twins) and 6 years old. They were all 7-10 pound babies...even the twins were a good size! I'm afraid of how big my kids will be. Both of my sisters ended up going a week past due most of the time too, sure hope I don't!

I am terribly embarrassed that I can't remember precise weights without looking them up. my largest was 8lbs 10 oz (I think) and he was the one I delivered without any meds or even an IV. I'm 5'2 and fairly small.

I'm 5'3". Medium build, but some extra stuffing. Weighed different each time I got pregnant, and gained different weights each time.

DD (First born) 6lb 11oz, 21 1/2 inches long. Had a shot of nubaine, and about a 3 hr labor. Delivery was literally 6 pushes. Average head (50%)

DS (Middle child) 6lb 15oz, 21 1/2 inches long. He was induced about a week early due to pre-eclempsia. I had something in the IV drip along with the petocin used to induce, but I don't remember what. He had the littlest head (10%) 3 hour labor and delivery.

DD (my 8 month old) 7lbs 9.5oz and 19 1/2 inches long. I had a one cervical block, but didn't have enough for the second one, so the last 1/2 hour of labor and delivery was drug free. She had the biggest head too (75%). 3 hour labor and delivery.

haha that's funny countrymom, I'm only 5'2 and my own 13 yr old son is taller than me, I think he's 5'6 or 5'7, and our poor 18 year old daughter is only 5' so she looks up to her baby brother, funny. I guess we forgot to water her....

dd (8yrs) was 8lbs 0oz. hospital drugged birth 14 hours long
ds (18mos) was 5lbs 10oz. hospital drugged birth with preeclampsia 36+ hours long.
ds (7weeks) was 7lbs 0oz. dug free homebirth! 7 hours long

My babies generally come a little early so they aren't so big

Oh and I am only 5' tall! Gained a ton with the first two and lost weight this last time. I was 10 lbs lighter when I gave birth than I was when I got pregnant! (I was sick for the first few months and made a point of eating healthier than ever after that.)
