Daycare and Taxes>Question about Mileage

When calculating mileage do you calculate to and from your destination?

For example: I am traveling to the library for curriculum books. It is 5 miles one way from my house to the library. Do I calculate 5 miles (the miles it took to get to the library) or 10 miles (to the library and back home?)

Thanks!

When claiming car mileage always count round trip. (Otherwise it would mean you never came home!)
