Tom what can you write off different if you are licenced verus being not licenced? If I only watch one familys children in michigan could I be unlicensed and still write off what I am being liscenced?

does this make sense?

The question is whether you are exempt from licensing rules or are in violation of them. If you don't have to be licensed then you can claim exactly the same business expenses as if you were licensed.

If you are in violation of state licensing laws then you can claim all the same expenses as if you were licensed except the following: utilities, property tax, mortgage interest, house insurance, house repairs, and house depreciation.
