I am a jeans and tshirt kind of girl. I VERY rarely dress up. I cannot find a new pair of jeans to save my life. I wear anything from a 2-6 depending on brand. I used to LOVE American eagle, and they fit great in a 4 but the 2 are too small and the 4's are too big now.

I NEED a short, and sometimes need those hemmed. I need a lower rise and I need butt room!

I tried on express, forever 21, joes jeans, Hollister, Abercrombie and Guess at the mall this weekend. (can you tell I was shopping with teen girls?)

suggestions??? What do you love and why?

Silvers. They are spendy but last forever. They have many different types of fits to accommodate different shapes. Murices and Gordman's are good places to get them if those are near you.

Or you can also check out buckle brand, BKE.

I LOVE the Maurice's brand jeans in a Kaylee fit. I like the Taylor fit as well.

They come in short, but not too short (petite is too short and regular is too long normally), they have great stretch but lots of denim and they are curvy for a woman with butt room too!

The sizes range from 0-20 and some of the smaller sizes come in odd sizes too....

I love American Eagle, so I guess I'm not much help, haha. Old Navy used to have a good fit, but I haven't tried them in a few years, so I'm not sure how they have changed.

Old Navy are the only ones I like(and I love the price!). I also need short and these fit me great! I wish I was as small as you though!

I live Gap jeans. I have also had great luck, and love some from old navy. But because they are a lower end brand, the fabric selection is important because some cheaper jeans s t r e t c h and leave knees in them once you sit down. Which is a huge pet peeve.

7 for all mankind. NY and Company jeans.

I am generally a size 0-2. I buy 7 jeans in a 26 - 27 for a perfect fit. They have a bit of spandex (or lycra) in them for stretch, you can buy them in short (and they ARE short, you don't generally need to hem them, I am 5'2") they have curvy for a nice fit on the but with a low waist so they don't look like "Mom" jeans. My FAVORITE by far.

I guess I'm turning into kind of a denim snob, I find the fits of premium denim the best, I like seven for all mankind (the kimmie for curvy figure) I'm a size 2,but have hips and a butt and they fit me good in a 26-27, I need long lengths and prefer premium for this as well, although they do come in Petite. I also love Paige jeans, what I have done is gone to macys and tried on premium and them on ebay for half the cost brand new, or even slightly worn.

Careful on ebay though....I have gotten knock offs and was VERY mad when I received them.

Register on the sevenforallmankind website to receive special sales, coupons, etc. They don't send em often, but when they do they are usually a pretty good deal!

I'm so cheap when it comes to clothing.. I love the So brand. They sell them at Kohl's and so far they are the only jeans that I have found that I absolutely love! They come in short, regular and longs. I have to get the longs and they fit great! Mossimo from Target too. Well, I haven't really shopped at any of the stores mentioned here either so I can't compare. Oh except I do have a pair from Old Navy that I like.
See, they are all cheap!

I'm a old (38), overweight, and a cheap-o I buy Just My Size jeans from Walmart to wear for daycare. They fit well and wash well. I have been able to get glue, paint, just about anything out of them.

I am very careful, I actually buy more Paige jeans, but I have researched what to look for with knock offs.

I buy most of mine from the thrift store, so I wouldn't know

My favorite pair were a $3 thrift store find...Tommy Hilfiger Spirit Skinny's. But apparently they don't make them anymore, and now post-pregnancy my size 8's are too big

Before then my favorite hands down were Old Navy. I will probably go back to them now

Someone here once mentioned knit jeans and I really want to look into that. They just sound so comfortable and it sounds like it'd be a lot easier to get up and down in than the non-stretchy denim.

I'm 28' overweight, and a cheapo and I LOVE Wal-Mart "old granny jeans" -- ya know, the stretchy elastic jeans... i wear my daycare t-shirts with them and they are pretty cute. I'm very picky about my clothes and these kinda look and feel like skinny jeans or jeggings.

that was the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread

I LOVE sevens, but only wear them for evenings/ weekends - I buy jeans from TJ Maxx or Marshalls for day care. I am about 5'3 (okay 5'2 and three quarters) but thin, no butt or hips to speak of.
I used to love Old Navy jeans, but the new pocket placement does nothing for my lack of a butt, and it makes me look like I've got a load in my pants. Very attractive

I do only wear my "cheaper" and older seven jeans for work. They are just so much easier to move about in than most other jeans and they keep my rear covered.

LOL on the load in your pants!!!!

Ok I see a lot of you ladies are about my size (5'2" 108lbs). Anyone out there with no butt????

I find myself buying jeans in the juniors department because nothing else ever seems to fit. But then most of those are the flare leg jeans which does absolutely nothing to help my vertically challenged body.

Any suggestions on jeans for someone with no butt??

I remember that! I think that started because I had a parent coming during child care hours when I first opened and I mentioned I felt good wearing my Silvers. I immediately thought of that when I saw this thread!

I have a maurices (just checked their website) on the way to the mall, so I will be hitting that up this weekend.

I am also hitting up a few high end consignment shops for better brand jeans. My Mom loves Joes jeans but she is 5'6, 100lbs soaking wet with NO butt at all and I am 5'1", 100-105lbs with a giant butt.

I LOVE jeans, and I am down to 2 pair that fit and ONE of those are AE jeans that I have had since my dd was a baby (14 years old!) and they are getting a hole in the butt pocket so they aren't long for this world. I have worn the other pair twice this week already.

I don't know if they come in short but about 6 months ago at Kohls I bought Jennifer Lopez Brand Jeans. I LOVE them! I really need to go back and get some more since I find it hard to find jeans that I like. Otherwise I've had good luck with NY and Company and DKNY.

They do come in petite. I actually bought a pair of those not to long ago....the "jegging" type. They are super comfy!

I just recently discovered NY and Company when I needed some new career clothes for job interviews and training presentations. I LOVE their clothing! I haven't bought the jeans yet, because I was in the market for suit pieces but I do plan on trying them out. In fact, I have been debating it the past few days because they are BUY ONE GET ONE FREE RIGHT NOW!
