I've decided just to go ahead and term a family. I've actually been thinking about terming for awhile, I just haven't had the guts to do it. When these 2 kids aren't here, I actually ENJOY my daycare. It's just time. There are a variety of reasons, but I really want to have an 18 months plus daycare. NO more babies. I can't handle it!!! I look up to those of you who have several babies. I just can't do it!

I tried searching for generic, but I couldn't find one that didn't really have a reason behind it. (I'm sure I just didn't look in the right place!) I guess my reason could be that I just want 18 months and up. How do I word that in a professional term letter?

Something to the effect of :

Due to structure changes at xx child care, as of xx date, my program will only be serving children 18 months and older. The last day I can offer child care services for little Johnny will be xx/xx/xxxx.

You could make it longer or shorter, but I always try to keep my short, sweet and to the point! Good luck

Yep! Best to keep it short and sweet. That way less push back. Just remember to stick to your guns.

Perfect! Thank you! At the end, should I put something like "Thank you for allowing me to serve your family."? Or does that sound dumb? I just want to put something like that because they are a good family, I just really don't want any more babies!

I usually put something like "I have enjoyed caring for Sally and I wish your family the best!"

Looks like ur good to go. Good luck! I understand I would like to stop caring for infants too but that seems to be all I get calls for ☹️
