I couldn't find a specific thread... but just wondering how many children you have total and what their ages are?

I have my 3 yr old son, a 17 month old (ft), and 2 year old twins on w-f.

I have an interview on Monday for a 2.5 year old part time- who will move to FT once school starts (mom is a teacher)

Also, I am due with my 2nd child in late October.

So yeah, just curious.

9. girl age 3.5 yrs
10 boy age 3.5 yrs
11 girl age 5 yrs
12 boy age 5 yrs
13 girl age 6 yrs
14 girl age 6 yrs

All are a minimum of 4 days per week and I have a second adult caregiver present. All are here before 9:00 am and first departure begins at 3:00 pm.

Enrolled I have

1. DD 6yo full time obviously
2. DS 6mo PT 1:30-closing (kinder)
3. DCB 4yo Tues-Fri
4. DCG 3yo Mon-Fri
5. DCB 2yo Mon-Fri
6. DCB 22mo PT Mon, Wed, Fri (6 more day kid now 1 more day )
7. DCB 22mo PT Tues, Wed, Thurs
8. DCB 8yo PT Fri (sibling of #5)
9. DCG 22mo Drop-in once a week

Will be losing DCB #3 to kinder in late August but will be replaced by his sibling sister in September (she is due next month)

DCG #9 is once a week until she gets used to group care (has always stayed home with mom), will move up to 2 days a week then 3 etc. DCM is expecting a baby in July and I will be taking new baby also in late Sept/early October.

I think it's awesome that my groups' ages will flow naturally and most of my 22mo will move up from infants to toddlers right before I get my next two infants. Totally happened by accident too, it wouldn't have happened this way if I tries planning it this way.

Wow some of you have a lot! I should have mentioned to say if you have a helper or not.

No helper for me but I am licensed for 8 but never have more than 6 in care at one time. My regs are Capacity 6: no more than 4 infants total OR no more than 3 infants and the rest have to be age 2 or older; Capacity 8: no more than 2 infants, 1 child in school and 1 must be at least 6 or older.

It works for me because my kids arrival and departure times are staggered so when I am at a capacity of 6 one gets picked up and another gets dropped off.

I don't have a regular helper. Last summer I had an intern (through a high school grad program). She lives 1/2 mile up the road, and she'll come give me a hand once in a while, but she's not regular here. Her contract/program was done the end of December, but she's been here a handful of times, but doesn't count as a helper for my licensing numbers.

I guess I just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting in over my head by having 3 ft, 2 pt and then soon 4 full-time with my newborn in October.
