These 2 1/2 yo twins are getting separated tomorrow for the entire quiet time!! I just took 1 twin to the other side of the playroom for the rest of quiet time. They were yelling at me, telling me to 'move it', meaning the buckets I had added to keep them separated. Now 1 twin is calling me stupid. They will NOT be quiet. These are the 'no consequences' girls I have. It is so maddening.
So irritating to not be able to use duct tape.

I would be tempted to call for pick up.

Ask the parents if they would prefer pickup or duct tape.
I bet they aren't well trained at home either.

Do they have a behavior plan in place?

I'd absolutely separate! EEK!!! One in kitchen. One in playroom.

Yelling at YOU?! Calling YOU stupid?! I couldn't even.... I don't think they'd be back tomorrow. I'm sure if they feel empowered enough to call you names the rest of your day is just a treat. Nope, I couldn't handle that.

I already have another dcg sleeping in the kitchen. No, we don't have a behavior plan in place for them and they don't seem to get any consequences at home, that I know of. I really need to discuss this with the parents. They will be 3 in a couple of months and are typically pretty good kids(believe it or not). The girls seem to be outgrowing their naps and if they sleep well at night, their nap time suffers. If they take naps here their night time suffers. They are always given choices about everything by the parents. I don't have time for that in my day so that leads to problems. They have learned the word 'stupid' from their 5 yo sister. Some days are just difficult and some days aren't too bad. They are the babies of the family and being twins, I think they've gotten some special attention along the way. Never told no to much of anything.
They will be separated today at nap time.
They leave for the summer, mid June, so it'll be interesting to see how they return in the fall.
