Someone asked recently if anyone had read Mr. Ramsey's new book. I just finished it. It was wonderful.

The Legacy Journey is written for folks who are looking ahead at the future, not just trying to get to payday. He calls it the later Baby Steps. I'm not quite there, but I am looking that direction, so it was a great boost to me to be thinking what happens after the credit cards are paid off, and the emergency fund is full funded.

I highly recommend his book.

I haven't read that one, but I am a big fan. We try hard to live by his principals. Now, if DH can finally finish school so we can really get moving!

I asked about The Legacy Journey a little while ago. Thank you for your opinion on it. I am still working on paying my debt off (Baby Step 2 in Financial Freedom). But I plan to have them paid off by the end of August. And, I won't need to do Baby Step 5 (save for your kids' college).

I've heard a little about The Legacy Journey and was wondering if it's just a more in depth, basically re-writing of Financial Freedom or if it's really completely different concepts and of course, whether it's worth reading or not.

Once I get my debt paid off and a couple of months expenses saved up, I'll probably look into buying The Legacy Journey.

Legacy is definitely more than his other books. It's the next step, not rehashing what you already know. Good for you for reducing your debt.

I don't have to worry about college funds either. So I worked my debt off in about a year. But then I slacked and made no progress. Legacy has put the fire back under me.
