Daycare Center and Family Home Forum>Have You Ever Had Daycare Parents Who Were Having An Affair With One Another?

I just found out through facebook that two of my recently graduated daycare families are divorced, but the Mom and The dad of opposite families is now married.

When the kids were here, they'd leave one car in front of my house, and carpool together. But, on the days that a different parent would pick the kids up, the car that was left here, would still be here til late at night.

That's confusing, huh? Did it make any sense? These kids just finished Kindergarten, so in the span of less than two years, the four parents divorced, and two married each other.

Oh yeah. 8 yrs ago, we had two families who liked to swing and very vocal about it. It ended up with the two dads as a couple.

Well what about this one.....
Have you ever had a parent hit up on the provider? In others words, has a DCP ever asked the provider on a date?

I have had all kinds of "weird" stuff happen/ing.

Some jaw dropping, some right out of a soap opera and some simply head shaking.....but nothing I could share here in this forum area.

I am no longer surprised at anything anymore.

One of my current fams, DCM is having an affair with one of my very good friends. I'm still trying to adjust but if/when it all blows up I'm gonna say I didn't know a thing!

I had the same thing happen when I worked in a large center! Now the father and my friend have a child together (he is 5 now), but can't stand each other now. And to top it off, I moved to a neighborhood and the dad lives down the street from me!

I had a DCM that was going thru divorce walk in one day and meet a single but in a new relationship DCD. OMG! You could FEEL the electricity when they were introduced. For awhile they both started arriving at the same time and lingering. Don't know if they ever got together because it was late summer and both children started kinder soon after.
