I have no idea what happened this weekend, but when I unlocked & opened the door 6 minutes ago I had 3 dcp practically race to see who could drop off first.
I wonder what I'm in for today. Lol

Well-we're already on tantrum #2 (2 different kids), 1 water cup has been thrown, and breakfast hasn't hit the table yet.
New dck starting today should be arriving soon.
Awesome sauce!
My dcg that hasn't had a Binkie here in months came in for drop off crying for her Binkie and hitting her mom. They claim they cut the Binkie but Dcd slips many times and I know they still give her a bottle and Binkie at home. Mondays are fun with her!

Dcb 2 shows up with a ring of chocolate around his mouth. I tell him Oh, you still have some breakfast left on your mouth, what did you have? He says Chocolate donut yummy!
Great.....

I have one of these as well. Mom swears up & down that there's no bink/bottle at home. Dad doesn't know I'm not supposed to know dcb has it. :-)

My drop offs did not go smoothly this morning. No dck's wanted to come and one dcm accused me of starving her child (child wont eat what I fix).

I guess she could always give him a chocolate donut like mine did, he's sure to eat that

.........
Do your kids drop evidence of donut crumbs on the entry rug too?
What I don't understand is how some parents can afford to drive through dunkin donuts every day?

Sprinkles and a soggy yard from an early morning storm mean we're inside today. DCB was with dad this weekend so I'm in for two or three days of the nastiest diapers EVER and he's already pooped twice. DCB5 is being a stinker who needs more than I offer, DS had his bday party yesterday and DH didn't help me clean up and DS is still wound up and his real bday is tomorrow so he's still wound up on that score, DD is playing with DS and the two of them are excluding DCB5....

My DS threw up all over the bed this morning. So, I am closed for the day.

Am I the only one that has easy Mondays? I look forward to them because they are my easiest days
Mine came in a little crazier this AM but for the most part it was a smooth transition back to work. They seem to always be coming down off of the lack of sleep, junk diets, and hustle and bustle of weekends on mondays.

Tuesday's are my bad day here, if Monday is bad, Tuesday is h*ll. Decent Monday = bad Tuesday.

My morning went pretty smoothly... it has actually been the best Monday in quite a while... dcm decided on Friday to try dairy-free for dcb2 and started over the weekend.
Today, instead of falling asleep on the floor while playing, he actually had energy. His diapers weren't as bad as before and I am hoping this is carried through all summer. This is their last week for the school year and I won't see them again til the end of July.

My summers usually run smoothly.....several of my kids miss days through the summer so I rarely have a full load. My assistant (my mom) and I usually trade out days or work half days each! I could get used to this but things change in August!
SignMeUp 10:10 AM 06-02-2014
Several of mine came in grouchy/tired/angry this morning. Looks like no naps over the weekend
But my newest mom was cool about it
She handed over her smiling babe to me and said "Happy Monday!
"
So much better than the ones who want to stay "until things get better", kwim?
craftymissbeth 10:14 AM 06-02-2014
My Monday has been pretty awesome, so far! My 6 mo dcb has been in a great mood and went down for both naps with no problems. But now I wonder how the rest of the week will be!

Omg, I have one family who is always complaining that they don't have any money and how much their other sons (former dcb) preschool costs, yet they go camping almost every weekend-which costs money. This dcm has also called before and put me on hold....she was going through a drive thru.

That's my Monday too and I also wonder about the rest of the week.
One dcb didn't come today and another called and said they would be here after lunch, but hasn't shown up yet (he's my hardest child and I have been struggling with him lately).
Today has been a breeze! Maybe that's telling me something...lol

I'm closing early on Friday - not by much but enough to make me giddy
Today hasn't been bad, but I did just have to email a client who asked for a break over the summer and I haven't heard back

This. New cell phone, premium car, fancy clothes, and daycare is too expensive.

The donut was eaten before daycare dropoff. Yippee! I always thought donuts were a treat and not a food group?

I was so not ready for Monday this week! I felt positively slammed into gear this morning. Rough night for me with insomnia last night, which does not make for a good start to the week. Started a new dcb today, and it is his 2nd birthday. Oh and it is raining.

Totally off topic, but I suffer with insomnia too. The only thing that works for me are these pills from Walmart called sleep-aid. You get 8 of the. For $.88 and take one each night. I take it about 2 hours before I want to go to bed and voila! I sleep pretty soundly. For me, anyway.

Today has actually been a breeze!! One DCB only came for 4hrs, 1 DCG isn't here today since mom is off work, the other DCG I termed on Friday and only one other DCB who's easy-peasy! My DS & I are having snuggle time during DCBs nap. Dh should be home soon since he worked early this AM and then the big boys will be home from school soon!
KiddieCahoots 01:51 PM 06-02-2014
Ok.......they've all gone home!
Now it's a happy Monday!

Keeping with the off topic, topic
I fell asleep 2 1/2 hours before I had to get up. Usually when my week starts like that, I hardly sleep all week.
Back on topic, Mondays are iffy (not too bad today) but we have 3 dck who are off on Wednesdays, so Thursdays are like a second Monday- especially with one particular dcb.
