For those of you with a full time assistant, what do you do if he or she calls in to stay in ratio? I’m considering hiring someone and taking on more kids but one of the things I like about this business is not having to rely on the responsibility of other adult coworkers.

have a on call backup? someone whos older and retired (aka not working another job) who is available when you call them in?
