Is 9 yo!! Only had 4 kids(there were 4 out)today but my 2 that should've rested did NOT. And my youngest got up about 10 times. Then she ended up screaming through part of nap time. Ugh.

I have three phasing in at the same time. The solo kid is two and cries for Daddy--it's just his second day and he's adjusting. The older of the two siblings cries at the drop of a hat, and the younger is a bully, so the older one cries ALL THE TIME, and then the younger one cries because nobody will let him punch/bite/push. How rude of us!

There has been a LOT of screaming. And my poor 4-year-old daughter is trying to bear up well but understandably is having her own Mr. Hyde moments. At least she's old enough that I can let her go play quietly in her room when she's ready to climb the walls to get away from the screaming picking poking punching!

So right now, Mr. Bully is asleep in a PNP after screaming and kicking for half an hour, and his sister has just cried herself to sleep on her napping mat. I tried putting Mr. Bully on a napping mat last week, but he used the opportunity to go stomp across the other kids. Sad new kid is in my lap because he was shouting for Daddy and woke the other kids up. This is a group that doesn't nap well together . . . yet. Hopefully it'll get better.

Oh Pestle I guess I'll keep my crew. Yikes.
I have to admit I NEED some peace and quiet during quiet time or I become a bear. It wasn't so bad today, little almost 3 yo fell asleep after about half an hour of pulling 'I gotta go potty' (when all day long she defies even going near the bathroom). She used to be the 1st 1 asleep every day, last 1 awake, so easy at nap time. But since SA dcks started coming she's been fighting the routine and is becoming increasingly ornery in just about every way.

Ha ha! And there's no way to communicate "You are miserable and mean because you need your nap." Same deal today: Mr. Bully is passed out; little guy is mumbling to himself in my lap after going into hysterics when he realized his dad forgot his binky; big sister is SCREAMING HER LUNGS OUT because I softly said, "You need to get back into the bed."
