I am closed:
New year's Day
MLK
Pres Day (yay, tomorrow!)
Memorial Day
I don't provide summer care or I would list July 4
Labor Day
Thanksgiving & day after
Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, & usually the 26th too

I don't charge for these days; however, I do charge if a parent calls off with short notice no matter the reason.

I'm closed AND paid for:

New Year's Day
July 4th
Thanksgiving and the day after
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day

Also, I take up to two weeks of paid vacation

No sick days. If I close unexpectedly parents are not required to pay. The parents can take vacation and do not have to pay as long as they give me the required notice.

I am closed

New yrs eve and day
Christmas Eve and day
Memorial Day
Labor Day
Fourth of July
Good Friday and Easter Monday ( just added Monday this yr)
Thanksgiving and the day after

I think that's it I also take 12 days paid. And am normally closed on Fridays during the summer. When I interview I tell them on the phone and ask if they have good back up care otherwise I won't be a good fit for them.

Tuition is going to be paid 52 weeks per year for my daycare.

Vacation days will be:
MLK Day
Presidents' Day
Memorial Day
July 4th
Labor Day
Columbus Day
Veterans' Day
Thanksgiving and the day after
Christmas and the Day after
New Year's Day

Christmas Eve and New Years Eve I am closing at 3pm.

I am also planning on taking 2 weeks vacation and clients have up to 5 "free" days with no tuition.

These holidays and vacations are pretty standard in my area. (although some do not give clients any free days)
