Here's another snack I've been making a lot and my DCK love them!

2 can of chickpeas drained. Put on a baking sheet and bake at 450 for 30-35 minutes (until they get crunchy). I shake them every 10 minutes so they don't burn on the bottom.

When they are done you can add just about any flavor you want-savory or sweet. My kids like when I drizzle a little honey & cinnamon or cinnamon & brown sugar on them.

I love roasted chickpeas. I often use Lawreys Season Salt. Yum.

This sounds great! I've been trying together a good list of snack ideas, things other than carrots, cucumber, animal crackers, and pretzels ...

I really wanted to like it... But I didn't

The kids didn't either. Would be a great snack for those that do though. Perhaps I didn't cook them long enough.

They should be really crunchy, if they are even a little soft on the inside they don't taste the same...

You can roast the chickpeas with seasoning for a tastier snack if the plan chickpeas don't go over well. Pinterest has some wonderful recipes for this....honey roasted, toss they with olive oil and sprinkle with onion and garlic powder, etc.
