I am so excited! My current part-time family has asked again about my availability this fall. I wasn;t going to broach the subject again since I've only watched the kids 3 days a week for the past 2 1/2 weeks. The mom brought it up today and we had a long conversation about it. And I couldn't be happier!! She (mom is still in school) & also works part-time but dad has consistent hours. They have picked up early every single day & paid on time & the kids are BETTER behaved than my own. She even said she would be on school break over Christmas & that is totally fine with me as a 2 week break would be welcome come December. The only bad part is that I now will have to call my teacher mom she needs to find new care. I'm sad for her kids having to go through someone new this fall but I have to do what is best for my family. And teacher-family stressed me out big time with their late pick-ups & lack of notice for everything. Just wanted to share my joy. Off to make dinner!
