I was just wondering how you were and what you ever decided about keeping or letting go the dcg that was stealing. I hope that everything has worked out for you, I know how stressed you were.

Hi sorry I am so late to reply! I am just seeing this now.
I still have DCG right now with lots of rules in place such as backpack checks and no access to her school bag but I still can't be sure she isn't stashing things in other places. I did leave some things out and she didn't take them so that was a good sign.
It is going okay for right now, she is slowly earning my trust back but DCF knows that if she takes anything else..even the smallest thing. She is termed.
It is a good way for my children to learn about forgiveness so I am trying to look at it that way.
This has caused me a lot of stress though. Well this on top of a lot of other things I guess. My husband says all I do is talk about daycare and complain all the time...but it is so hard not to when things are not going well. It almost consumes you doesn't it?
I am much better though, and thank you for your concern. You are very sweet
