What types of preschool programs do people use in their home daycares? I am just starting out and am thinking of going with Abeka Book.

I create my own, using High scope philosophy and some reggio approach features.

I've used a variety of programs throughout the years including many years of making my own. For the past two years I have been using Mother Goose Time and we have all really enjoyed it. I love that it comes with pretty much everything I need.

I am working on my own as my group ages up to a place where it's reasonable to even use some semblance of a curriculum.

Mine is very Montessori-based, with Reggio aspects as well. As I do more reading and learning I will probably add in several other "flavors" as well, but those are the two main ones.
