How do you directors handle the repeated requests for Pro-rating tuition? the holidays are approaching, and despite my newsletter notice reminding that "we don't pro-rate, so please don't ask," I've already been asked! The parents are both teachers who are off two weeks in December.

Honestly?
1. I take a deep breath.
2. Remind myself they all honestly think they are the exception to the rule and are not purposefully making my blood pressure go up.
3. Then I just say NO. Every time.

yes, this is kind of like the if you build it; they will come line of thinking.
So for this profession it is more like "If it is a policy; someone will question it."
All part of the job.
Just practice saying "No."
