Can coloured rice (food colouring & vinegar) be stored in an air tight container to use another time or will it go moldy/rotten?

Rice stores dry for 20+ years. Idk about the coloring though. Could you throw it in the deep freeze?

It's fine as long as the container has a tight lid. Make sure it's well dried before you store it though. I let mine dry overnight.

I store colored rice and noodles year after year with no issues so I assume it's ok. I've never had any mold or get smelly.

If you have a deep freezer I toss my stuff in there to use again.

I've had my colored rice in rubbemaid bins in my downstairs closet for at least 3 years now with no problem.

I've stored colored rice and noodles for years too-tightly covered container in the basement-never a problem.

nope, it'llbe fine. Unless it gets soaked or something. But regular, coloured sensory rice won't get moldy, especially in airtight containers.

You could also put some in bottles, like a small Gatorade bottle, and use them for sensory bottles! My kids love them!
