Should enrollment fees and late fees be included in the parents end of the year total on their tax receipt?

I know I have to claim it on MY end but am unsure if I include it on the receipt I make for parents or not.

I don't think it matters as long as you claim it on your end.....unless they don't enroll until near the end of the year it won't help them anyway.

BUT I'd still include it just so our numbers matched. Makes me feel better.

Yes, such fees should be included in the end of the year total you give parents for them to claim the child care tax credit. See IRS Publication 503.

I know this is an old thread, sorry if I'm opening it up again not sure if that's allowed. But I had a question about enrollment fees: Last year (2021) I started charging an enrollment fee for the first time. Do I add the enrollment fee amount to my 2021 taxes & end of the year statements or do I wait and add it when the family gives their 2 week notice and I use it for the last 2 weeks of the year they give notice?

It gets added to the year you received it. So if you got it in 2021 you put and the receipt and in your taxes for 2021.
