Question Is a Group Home Worth the Extra Work and Cost?

I run a daycare currently, but cannot take infants. I would love to know how other providers feel about hiring someone to ONLY care for the infants. This would force me to have to open a group home (up to 12 kids in my home). I know there are extra costs and extra work to do with taxes. I understand that I also would have to pay minimum wage. Do you think this is profitable? I would be doing it just to keep my business going. (Having trouble getting calls other than infants.)

Any suggestions or comments welcome.

Thank you,

Carol
