Family Home VS Group - Missouri
I am trying to figure out if I could do the "group" vs the "family" home for my daycare. Missouri law states "A group day care home shall be in a location other than the provider’s permanent residence or separate from the provider's living quarters." Since this will be taking place in the basement of my home, would that be a "separate living quarters" or not since there is no door going straight into the basement? I will be reaching out to someone with the state to ask, but I am unsure what department would be able to answer that for me. Any thoughts? Thank you so much for any tips!
