I was sooooo looking forward to this interview tonight for a potential new full time infant and I'm pretty sure I just got stood up! So frustrating. I've been waiting to start my dcd's dinner and bed routine in anticipation of them getting here. Not to mention talking to her about how people would be stopping by to possibly meet a new friend and we should be on good behavior, and now there is no one here. LAME.

It is frustrating to wait for someone. Maybe, being new parents they are just running late? I would call them.

The kid is 13 mo old and they have 2 older kids. This isn't their first rodeo. I'll definitely be calling them. I should have expected it when I made the conformation/reminder call this afternoon about our appointment and didn't get a call back, but I was being positive and hoping that they were just busy since they're both teachers.

Aw, that is sucky. ((Hugs)) and good wishes for a more reliable family to come your way!

No call and no show is an immediate disqualified for me. Late or cancel with a call or text is fine but barring a serious emergency if that happens to me I write the family off. It's such a pain and so disrespectful.

I always write a little note at the end of an e-mail confirming our interview that they need notify me if they cannot come and barring extenuating circumstances the interview will not be rescheduled without proper notification.

No calls no shows don't get a second chance.
If you are late, you still have to stay within the allotted time IF I am still there. I leave after 10 minutes late.

Ahhhh how frustrating! That happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Oh well, their loss!
