This is driving me crazy.
This kid is 4 and so is dd.
He knows the rules, but if dd tells him to do something he isn't suppose to, he listens to her. When I tell him no he says "but dd said so".
I could even say "dck go do x" and dd will say "no dck go do y" and he will go do y.
The two of them are driving me crazy.

Does your daughter get that you're in charge?

She is certainly trying to push her boundaries this week, isn't she . I'm trying to nip this in the bud.

I love time alone when they are disobedient. It is my BFF.
"Mommy is the boss of Jack at daycare." I would place her in another room with a book every single time even when it was helpful. I had an "I am the boss" 3.5-yr-old that I did this with recently. He stopped after 3 long weeks. Now he will say,"Ms.-- is the BOSS!" when he sees another child telling others what to do.

Maybe play some games of simon says and replace it with "miss.... says". You can throw in some of the other dck and dd when you do "..... says". They'll get practice listening to what YOU say, and it will be a fun game.

Tell your DD that she need to tell DCB that he has to listen to you and not her.
