My 7am didn't show (although that could simply be a communication error as we're working out a schedule change)

My 8am arrived crying because he wanted his blanket from home. Obviously over tired. He's now curled up on my lap with his blanket he uses here. Unfortunately he smells like wet dog *gag* because it rained yesterday and dcb often sleeps w/the family dog.

Next drop off is 9am so we shall see.

None yet

One scheduled in around 9 who is 6 months old and won't be any different than usual, and 1 who got sent home with a "teething" fever of 101.3 yesterday. No, sorry, see you Monday....IF he's better. And that one's brother who isn't coming either.

I've had three normal, happy drop offs and one "headed to Gramma's today with her costume on" call.

I usually have 3-4 dropped off early. Only 1 early drop off today, woohoo.
I'm not sure how the other 7 will go.

My oldest was dropped off normal time but has just been watching cartoons with dd (she gets a show in the morning during arrivals). They're all out of it and quiet. One of mine is being kept home and the littlest was dropped off 2 minutes before 8:30 which is my drop off cut off time. He's normally a 7:30 drop off. So far the mornings been pretty muted and calm. I'm ok with that lol

All of mine are snuggled ip on the couch under a blanket. Looks like they will all be napping in no time. Makes for an easy peesy morning! Not sure what that means for my afternoon though. Kept my DD home from school bc I couldn't send in a sleepy cranky candy hang over child. Haha. Glad its Friday!

Great morning here. One kid took the day off, another will be picked up early. My 2 "naughty" boys are behaving perfectly. It's heaven on Earth here today.

Full house today. Drop offs went fine. They have just been insane since. Mostly wild. I'm sure due to halloween hangovers. Weather is supposed to be nasty today but it has held off so far and if it hasn't started to rain in 20 minutes, we are headed outside at 9:30 and staying out until it either rains or it's lunchtime, whichever come first.

Drop offs here have been a mixed bag. One mom brought candy bars (from last night) for her kids to have with or before breakfast and I say after breakfast they can have them, well, man the screaming and melts start and it wasn't even 8am yet. One Mom brings dcg in and says she still is so tired from being up so late last night for Halloween so she will probably be crabby today. Crabby isn't the word for what she has been like so far this morning.... So I can see what my day is going to be like....

So glad it is Friday!!!

You are nicer than I am. Those would hae been handed right back to mom and I would have told the kids "Mom will hold these for you until she comes to pick you up"

If I was thinking straight and more awake this morning that is what I should have said. I had not gotten a chance before the kids started coming to get my cup of coffee, which I really need this morning!

All went well, but we did a pj day today (thank you to the one that posted the "executive decision" yesterday-great idea-i immediately fired off a group email!) so the kids were happy and excited.

All the older ones told me that had candy from their bag this morning, but what can I say? So did my 3 sons, and I snitched an Almond Joy for myself!

One in tears, but fine now. Another wilder than normal, but he's typically Mr. Calm, so he's still pretty mellow! The third has been crying on and off, and just went to the nap room, banged on the door til I opened it, then lifted her arms to go in the PNP... Clearly tired... And my own slept til 8 g(unheard of!). I wonder how nap will go...

Well, not to brag, but since you asked... Out of my 9 possible children - only 2 came today. AND they are being absolute angels.

Bonus, all of those families chose not to come today for various reason so I am getting full pay today for what feels like a vacation day.

Ok here. Youngest one is crabby, but he has 2 teeth trying to poke thru and he's constipated so this has been him all week. Next family, according to the oldest, "only went to 4 houses cause brother was too crabby" (and still is). Oldest is ok so far-and that is something new for him lately (knocks on wood).

Yeah I am so jealous of you right now..

I have one that arrived with a pack of MM candy. I said oh thank you for bringing that for me and took it away. the child is still crying.

Another that threw up upon entry, they went right back out.

the rest seem to be doing ok.

This is my day today. Wild children, but we are having a pj day. Dcb brought a movie, three didn't like it so they cried for 30 minutes about a movie we aren't even watching. One came in with a back pack full of toys and candy (it's put up) and he is crying/screaming on/off for it.

So over today already! Closing next Halloween for sure!

My one and only dck just arrived at noon (she has am preschool M/W/F). Normal drop off, but she was more talkative than normal. We will have lunch very soon, then nap, so I am assuming the rest of my day will be fine a well.

All my kids were their usual selves. 4 good kids and one tornado child. All went down for naps great, including a child who is sleeping without a pacifier here for the first time!
We are having our Halloween party this afternoon!

meh...I'm even meaner than that. I would have taken the bag of candy and let the kids eat the whole thing about 30 minutes before pick up.

As a thank you to mom for her being so considerate, I would have added some candy of my own just so the kids had a little "extra" energy.

I'm not really that mean, but I am smart enough to NOT deal with ANY candy-hang overs.....I closed the day after Halloween.

Love your comment Blackcat! I will have to remember to do the candy thing just before pick up next year! Smart Girl you are, closing the day after Halloween! I never thought of that, but it's a great idea!

1 at grandmas "since he would be up late and may be cranky" (thank you sweet considerate DCM!!)

1 in a great mood, but runny nose, drooling, 3 diahhrea diapers then threw up -mom was great about it though, picked up very quickly and even apologized that since she wasn't acting sick (she really wasn't) so she didn't know to keep her home.

Brother of dcg who was sent home just fine until mom left, then acted up until nap because he didn't go too (he chose not to because we have a bday party this afternoon)

1 w/ runny nose, drooling (2yo), and crazy as all get out- probably sick but no excludable symptoms

1 slept in, 2 hours late, in a cranky mood all morning, and tossing and turning at nap

1 dcm causing drama (as usual!) this morning over nothing purposely working him up so he would be upset at her leaving.

and

1 just fine!

Three didn't come due to "too tired"..."not feeling well"....etc. Kudos to their moms for not dumping them on me.

The others were split in two groups.
The tired, sluggish, whining group and the bouncing off the walls group.

Put the two groups together... aaaaand.........let's just say I am glad it's over for another year.

We had a pretty low key morning. 3 called off, and one doesn't come in till 10:30, so we only had 8 till then. They ate and napped well (would have napped longer if our director allowed) but were a little crazy in the afternoon. We wanted to bring them outside, but there were high wind warnings so we couldn't.

Friday was monthly fees due.

DCP came in rushed & claiming they were late. I was perplexed due to knowing DCP's schedule. It's none of my business. So I shrugged it off. I closed the door.

It hits me; I think, "Where is my money?"

I open the door, "Today is payment day!"

DCP responds, "Let me see" and drives off.

I closed my door & thought, "DCP doesn't know me."

The kids were awesome.
