My parents own the home I am living in and for half of the year I paid the mortgage directly to the mortgage company. I did not pay anything to my parents (they have since taken over the mortgage payment as I'm going through a divorce).

Do I issue a 1099 to my parents? From the way I read Tom's reply on another thread about a similar issue I won't need to since my payments went directly to a company, but I want to be 100% sure.

Thank you in advance!

Don't issue a Form 1099 to your parents.
