Daycare Center and Family Home Forum>Interviews tomorrow, should I tell potential parents?

I'm only about a month along in my pregnancy. We have only told a few close family members and none of my current DC families. I want to be closed for at least a couple of weeks possibly a month when the baby comes. I don't yet know if I'll have backup. Do you think I need to tell potential families if they decide to enroll their kids? One of the families already specifically asked if I close when I'm sick.

Personally, I would tell them. "A couple of weeks or possibly a month" is a long time for dc parents who may not have family or friends to use for backup care while you're closed. You risk losing potential clients by telling them up front about your maternity leave but for me, it would be better than having angry clients who leave because I didn't warn them upfront. JMO
