Just Not Showing Up To Work?

I'm sick of all this. What if I just don't show up to work today and leave this field completly? I know it's not right, but, I think I can say I hate this field. I don't hate my kids, I just hate everything else. I wanna leave but we've had two teachers quit without notice this year. We also have about 30 kids enrolled and 4 teachers. This week one is on vacation and another is starting vacation Thursday. I really don't wanna go though. I wanna be no call no show and I know I can't do that. Sigh.

Im sorry you are feeling like this.

I understand though, this profession is definitely stressful at times and thankless as well.

Maybe try to focus only on the positives today... that seems to help me when I have chaos or frustration happening all around me.

Taking time for yourself before and after work helps too.
Some fresh air, a nice walk or even just sitting for a bit and not doing anything at all.

Hang in there... we've all been there.
