googling around this morning for ideas and came across two good ones....
here is a link to dentists that participate in candy buy back program. you bring your leftover candy to a participating dentist and they'll give you $1 per pound of candy and then ship the candy to overseas troops. you just enter your zip and it shows you dentists in your area who participate:

and if you happen to have an excess of starburst, this one looks fun:

(plan to do this one today!)
if anyone has any other easy crafts to make with leftover halloween candy, please share!

The big one around here is chopping up candy bars and putting them into brownies. I know you would still consume the candy, but it's in a different medium. LOL
I am curious to see the responses.

Well, yeah, true...in that case we toss it or send it to work with DH. Or if it's candy we were passing out, it doesn't get bought in the first place!

So I posted a link early this morning on this post and would love to know why it had to be "approved" and still has not shown up. Oh well.
I posted a super cute candy corn wreath that I was dying to make but never got the oomph to do it!

I am new to the MODing thing and didn't see that it was waiting for approval so I just approved it.
