For those of you who do daily reports what moods do you have listed to choose from? I have toddlers and preschoolers and the moods I have listed that I can just circle on the daily log are:

Happy Cooperative Playful Quiet Grumpy Sleepy Mischievous Excitable Talkative Not feeling well Other: _______________

It seems like I hardly ever use some and I feel like I am missing some. Any suggestions?

My daily report also has that on it. I usually fill it in with smiley faces or sad faces.

Since I only do daily reports for infants through about 9 months, I just tell the parent if they were happy or sad. Lots of tears or few to no tears.

I just changed mine and reprinted it. I am gonna add some of these and reprint again. I especially like challenging - that is a good one

Is that code for "exhausting"?

Yep! I think so I hardly ever circle the "bad" ones- so I need some passive-aggressive ones on there so I can at least be half-way honest about the day

I used to put "emotional" for a really difficult day. That way I felt parents took it better, but I was still getting my point across.

it typically falls into one of those categories when I circle 'challenging' on their sheets.

Right ? I feel like the terrible twos are very similar to PMS.

I am irritated with you. I am irritated with myself. I don't know what I want. But it isn't anything that is available to me right now.

At least that's how I feel when I am hormonal.
