Anyone use toddler beds instead of cots or mats? I am only taking a few kids & thought they would look nicer. How much harder to clean or steralize if needed?
I, personally, wouldn't want anything that "springy" or tall off the ground.
Kids can try crazy things if you have your back turned for 1 second.

I have six dck currently and they either sleep on regular beds or couches or play n pac for the babies. I don't do mats and haven't had problems with jumping or antics like that. I figure they sleep in beds at home so why not here? Over the summer I had more kids and they slept on sleeping bags but they didn't really nap, they rested and watched a movie or read. I say if you want toddler beds...go for it!

I have two mats i lay out for two of them, use a pack and play for the baby, and my twins sleep in their cribs until i get around to buying them some beds.

I agree they would look cute if you had a dedicated sleep room (which I do not) but I would be concerned about mattresses. I hate to think about all the germs mattresses soak up and leaked diapers, etc. would creep me out, LOL! I like that a mat I can wipe down with water/bleach and throw a new crib sheet on and its clean. And even if I had another room to my house I don't think I'd want to give it up for a daycare sleeping room - they already get enough of my house so I much prefer something I can tuck away!
