Does anybody have experience with water on their property? We are looking at purchasing a lot to build on, the only problem is that a drainage easement runs through the lot and the covenants don't allow fences. The lot is between 4 and 5 acres, so it's not like you would step out the back door to water, but it is on the property. Does anyone have experience with this, or know how close you have to be to a body of water before you would be required to have a fence? I know it varies by your state and licensor but I am just looking to get an idea from others who may have had this come up.
