I am about to head to the store to get paint and stencils. What are some good quotes to put on the wall in the daycare space?

"Children make your life important." Erma Bombeck
While we try to teach our children all about life,
Our children teach us what life is all about.
~Angela Schwindt
Children need the freedom and time to play. Play is not a luxury. Play is a necessity. ~Kay Redfield Jamison
There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million. ~Walt Streightiff

You could go with "The beatings will continue until morale improves", but only if your interested in early retirement. 👍. (i know, you were looking for serious suggestions but I'm real tired and.. well.. sorry)

I am so tempted to stencil this on my wall! The looks on parents’ faces would be worth cleaning house and starting with a fresh group.
I cannot stop laughing.

I actually have it on the back of a t-shirt.. I wonder how well it would go over if I were spotted by a dcp wearing it on a weekend. 😱

I love the one someone has for their avatar here.
Something like: I childproofed my house, but they still get in
Seriously, it cracks me up every time I see it
How about the Dr. Seuss one: Today you are you! That is truer than true. There is no one alive that is youer than you

Or this one (but I know I'm weird like this, I just love it and have it on my wall, but it's not kid-like):
The world in which you were born is just one model of reality.
Other cultures are not failed attempts at being you.
They are unique manifestations of the human spirit.

I am not a big fan either. We didn't even celebrate his birthday
But some of my kids have learned to read with Hop on Pop and Green Eggs & Ham. So I humor the kids occasionally

You could use, YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE, MY ONLY SUNSHINE, YOU MAKE ME HAPPY, WHEN SKIES ARE GRAY, YOU NEVER KNOW DEAR, HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU, PLEASE DON'T TAKE MY SUNSHINE AWAY... or any of your favorite song lyrics. Itsy Bitsy Spider, This Little Light of Mine, If You're Happy and You Know It...
Makes me smile.

A person's a person, no matter how small. Dr Seuss from Horton Hears a Who
Play is the work of children. Can't remember who said that....
A child is a story yet to be written. I think that one's anonymous.

Right about now I'm kinda liking "Is it Friday yet?"

I have "There will be a $5 charge for whining" painted on the door near my cubbys.
I am NOT a fan of Winnie the Pooh, but I love the quote by Christopher Robin that says
“Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."
Says what I want the kids to remember today, tomorrow and for the rest of their lives.
