I don't know if I am more mad that the worker did that or that the school defended her and allowed her to stay.

even if it was not my kid that it happened to, i would be pulling my kid out immediately

their decision to let the worker stay speaks loudly about them. very poor decision

Absolutely agree. Really? Worker wasn't termed on spot? Concerning.

and she was JUST reprimanded for waking a child up with her foot?

WHAT does it take to get fired from there??

What was she even trying to accomplish...? That's absolutely ridiculous.

The company seems to be involved, at least.

Man I get so sick of stories like this. I get that not everyone can handle children well, but then why get a job working with them?

I think because (at least around here) it's an easy job to get for someone with no real training or experience, plus they think it'll be an easy job (who doesn't like playing with kids all day, right? )

My very first formal job in childcare was at a military center overseas. I was 18 years old, my only job experience was as a temp office worker and fast food. My "supervisor" was a 19 y/o whose only qualifications were that she was a Colonel's daughter
