How many times will you reschedule an appointment of a prospective parent? What do you do if they are a on-call, no-show? Or are 30 minutes late? I'm a start-up provider.

I will never reschedule a no call, no show. If they give plenty of notice and want to reschedule I'll consider it, depending on the interest I've got in the spot and who they are. Most of the people I interview are referrals so they don't generally fail to show or reschedule since they know my spots fill quickly.

I will never reschedule a no call no show.

I will reschedule a client who asks in advance, but I can say I have never had someone sign on after needing to reschedule.

I'm with the others-I NEVER reschedule a no show. I will reschedule an appointment with advance notice.

No call no show? I will not reschedule them and their name is put on a list to not reschedule in the future.

If they give advance notice I will reschedule once.

I have enrolled people who no call no showed 1+ times as well as people who rescheduled at the TIME of the interview and they were just not great clients. I wound up having to terminate most of them and those I didn't made me grit my teeth so I don't waste my time anymore.

At the end of my confirmation e-mail for schedule interviews I let them know that missed or late arrivals will not be rescheduled.

When I first started, I had one horrible day getting strung along by a woman who lied all day about being just a few minutes away. Afterward I looked her up on Facebook to see if she was even real and discovered she'd been with her kids at a park at the other end of the city all that time that she was totally just a few blocks now.

So now I have a 1 strike and you're out rule. Treat it like a job interview. The very last thing you need is for your livelihood to depend on someone who treats you that way.

I'll reschedule once if they have a decent reason. But just ONCE.

No show no call, no way will I reschedule. If a family has a true emergency (like the baby came early - and yes it has happened), I will reschedule a few weeks later if they call me first and explain. I interview pregnant mommas or ones that just gave birth, so sometimes I have to bend just a bit.

I have rescheduled parents of older infants in the past and they never worked out... speaking of, I have a scheduled interview calling for an address right now lol

I would not reschedule a no call no show....I would reschedule if they call to cancel the appointment, but I would reschedule only once

Most my meet & greets use GPS, but I also warn them about there being 2 roads the same name on either side of a bridge (different counties off the same main Rd if they are coming from that direction); mine usually call if they get lost before their meeting time. Of course they have to call or text 3 hrs before the meeting to get the exact address too; no drive bys earlier in the week here

If they had a really good excuse and I was desperate for clients I might!

I just recently dealt with some rude behavior. Not responding to emails, showed up 20 minutes late for our meeting without an apology. I gave her a few chances but In the end it wasn't worth it!

I give detailed directions when I set the appointment. Most people have GPS on their phones, as well. There's no excuse for getting lost when I gave easy directions.

I said "I'd just like to mention that a tardiness of 15 minutes or a cancelation of our appointment this Saturday will not be rescheduled." Too much to the point?
