Default Teething Toys

I have seen some threads about toddlers that mouth everything. One of the solutions is to had the toddler a teether.
What kind of teether would you recommend?
and how do you keep another child from taking it or sharing with another child?

I have all kinds of teethers. I am not partial to any particular type, brand or kind. Basically ANYTHING that is safe and that works.

I am fortunate enough that I have a separate infant/toddler room so I dont worry about another toddler taking a specific teether from another child as they are infants/toddlers....they share sooooo much more than I'd care to think about just being in the same room with each other.

I'm also not obsessive about germs from one kid to another unless it's blatantly gross or unacceptable but for the most part, sharing germs with our pack promotes healthy immune building and better defenses later in life...

Sorry that wasn't much help.

I like these teethers. They can be refrigerated or frozen. Amazon carries them too.

One of my favorites is this one:

My kids have always liked the texture of the bristles. It can be frozen too.

I'm still trying to get a parent to bring in the teething toys I asked for two weeks ago. The book I read on biting in child care said:
-Wooden
-Fabric
-Chewy (teether)
-Nuk toothbrush or other silicone object they can work with their molars

That pretty much covers the range of my toys that he keeps damaging. I ask her every day and she keeps seeming surprised that I asked her. It took two months to get the immunization records from this family. And last week she didn't pay, said she'd pay Monday, acted shocked when I told her there'd be a $90 total late fee for the two kids over the weekend, magically produced a checkbook, and then tried to shortpay me for the two days she kept her kids home.
