I have 2 dcfs with 3 total 4 year olds. All 3 of these dcks will not be ready to hit kinder Fall 2019 IMO. All struggle with listening, obedience, anger, disrespectful behavior and it's not so much academic readiness as it is social, maturity level. Financially I can let all 3 go and the dynamics of my group are so much smoother without the 3 (none have been here the last 3 days). Does anyone have any templates or examples of verbiage they send families that might not be working with your group that need maybe a bit more structure before kinder. I feel like my play based program is amazing for most kids but some need just a bit more structure, school-like atmosphere before kinder. I feel like I'd be doing them a disservice keeping them next year.
