View looking up my road toward the canyon......a small fire turned into 1000 acres in under two hours. We watched the mountain explode. They evacuated a lot of people (we were just outside the zone) Our church became a shelter.
Then......at midnight it began to rain.
This morning? Snow capped mountain.
I believe we saw a miracle last night.

Further back up my street this morning. Rain last night put out the fire and left us with our first snow kiss this morning.

Wow! That had to be scary to see such a big fire so close to your home. I believe in miracles. I'm so glad you were granted one last night!

Wow Meeko, glad the weather turned and you're safe. Now if we could ask for some of that miracle to spread it's arms across the country to help other states.

Thank you for sharing!!

Are you in Colorado?
Monday we had the weirdest, eeriest sky... constantly raining ash covering EVERYTHING.
Today, we have trees breaking from wet heavy snow...

This picture was taken at 12:30pm, 24 hours apart. (not my picture)

I noticed recently our location is posted. I was secretive for some time to remain anonymous but low and behold my location is announced.

I am near some fires but not dangerously close. Not orange here, but ash and smoke.

The house behind me burnt down last week, the residents died, and I am still shaken up about that, so the fires are giving me anxiety and I am not even in the danger zone.

Thanks. I figured it was a setting, and I looked and saw it said Anonymous now. After seeing it I started mentioning in a couple of threads my location.
