Who do we need to be rooting for on here?

I have 3-5 children leaving for Kinder at the beginning of summer (to enjoy a break with parents) or the end of the summer.

I would like one more pt kid. I have one leaving in April, & my baby dropping to pt. I'd like another pt so I can keep cash the same, but work less since I'm pregnant.

I have one full time and a few part time after school. Lost 5 to school last September and can't seem to pull anyone in. Every interview I have ends up going with SAHMs that give their care away doesn't seem to matter that I have the license, training, experience, curriculum, food program, references, etc…

So if you want to root for someone I definitely need the support.

I want ONE more replacement family. 4 interviews all interested but longer hours, a non potty trained 4nextmonth kid, a kid with a bottle and binky at 3, and a rotating schedule they didn't want to pay a regular rate for.

Ohhh.....I say maybe, pass, pass, and definitely pass for those interviews.

I would like to have maybe one more PT kid because I will be losing 1 SA boy come summer, but I'm pretty much full most days after next week. I finally filled the FT spot I've been trying to fill!!!

2 kids left in Feb & I have a SA who I'm on the verge of kicking out. I'm trying to work with his mom to get him somewhere more appropriate but it goes in one ear & out the other.

All of that to say I currently have 1 full time spot open and 1 part time spot open. When the current SA leaves (either by force or choice) I will have another full time spot open.

I just reopened after a 3 month break. So I have 4 spaces to fill. I keep getting calls for kids over 4 (which I don't take. Lol). There are 3 kids that could be starting soon. But they haven't signed up yet.

I'll take fingers and toes crossed, prayers and whatever ya got!! After 6 months open I still only have two ft dcks. I have advertised, passed out biz cards, taken drop ins and done all kinds of things that aren't working my parents are great...they compliment my care all the time. I can take up to 12 and would be happy to get 4 more right now.

I really need one more right now, but has to be over 2 years old and calls for those are VERY rare. Come summer I will have 2 openings for over 2's so I am really going to be hurting then.

I'd take a couple - I had two very unexpected withdrawals last week and due to some health issues I can't even think of trying to find new families until late summer. They were leaving in August anyway, but talk about horrible timing.

Maybe the daycare gods will drop an unexpected two year old (or two) in my lap. A girl can dream, right?

Root for me please! I lost one that I'd had for 3 years back in December due to job loss, I will lose another 3 in May that I've had for 2 years. Come summer I will only have 2 children enrolled and all the calls I get are for infants (I have 1 but only take one under a year at a time even though I could have 3).

I could use some rooting for
I just filled a super hard to fill spot only to get notice from another of the same age. Thankfully it was a wash but it still leaves me with 6 available. 4sa and 2 preschool. If it doesn't turn around soon ill be out of business. Plus I suspect that I will be losing another preschooler when the babysitter is out of school for the summer

I'm just about to start my search. I have a few teacher parents that are required to keep a 2 day minimum throughout summer to keep their spot in August. And I have one other child coming 4 days a week. I was supposed to have 1 more full-time summer child, but they just gave notice. I'm going to miss the income, but am secretly doing the happy dance to have Thursdays OFF and just me and my kids. This allows me the freedom 1 day a week to go to the zoo, and do fun things with my family without feeling guilty! Also the little one leaving is the biggest Pita =) I've been blessed to be at State allowed capacity since August, so I'm looking for a break!!

I'm hoping to find a child over 30 months for August. This is hardest of all spots to fill!

Most 3 yr. olds can go straight to preschool. So that leaves the following;
- Kids that have moved to the area... not very frequent - preferred clientele!
- Kids that are naughty and kicked out of a previous daycare <yikes>
- Crazy parents finding the prince/princess perfect solution, cheap care with nanny control

I passed on all BUT I am debating on the longer hours. I am torn between emailing them to offer the space with an enhanced rate, or telling them I filled it (I didn't, obv) They want 5:30-4:30, 11 hour days, 5 days per week. I do NOT like the 5:30, but I LOVE the 4:30. I am already up/ready and have one dck come at 6 but he goes right to a mat and sleeps until 7:30. It would be replacing a family that's admittedly leaving as soon as they can enroll dcb in a new sliding fee scale center AND they are my LAST late pickup (5:30 W/T/TH and 6:15 W/F). The rest of my kids are now gone at 4:45, so it's a heck of a lonnnggg time with one child.

I don't need any new clients but was hoping maybe this was an exchange thread...

I have one high maintenance helicopter parent that I will gladly exchange for any other type of parent....

ANYTHING has got to be a refreshment verses what I have going on with this family now....

You want my family who dopes and drops ? Although I don't know if I want a helicopter parent . My family did bring a bunch of fresh berries for the daycare kids yesterday. I think it was their way of saying sorry (maybe).

I have availability M,T,W. Even so I can’t take on another parent.

I am rooting for all who are looking to fill spots. I am wishing you honest, respectful, realistic, sane parents and Beaver Cleaver like children.

Me!
I could use 1 more, possibly 2 depending on how the afternoon goes. I have one leaving in the fall for "real pre-k"-not sure if the sibling will be staying or not.
Here's to everyone looking

Good luck to all of you

I am pretty good honestly. I am full now and will be full again in August. I like low enrollment summers.
