Wow - now that's cold!! We're at a balmy 24 here

WOW! 7?

We're in the low 30s but with the wind it feels like 20 or colder. I think I need to invest in one of those floor length down coats for when I stand outside waiting for the bus. Thankfully I don't have to leave my yard, but the 30 ft walk to the end of the drive was frigid!

I actually don't know what it is here but it's freaking cold! I spent the weekend in Indianapolis and they got twice as much as snow as we did here in Ohio. It's still flurrying here today though.

I'm in Ohio & Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I think it was about 16 or so this morning. Not supposed to climb much higher than 30 this week.

Its cold here too. I don't know how cold but it hurt my skin taking my kids to school today. Lol

It was 14 when we walked to school, but with the windchill it felt like 7! The kids were waiting inside, which surprised me because that's usually only when it's below 0. I think the teachers didn't want to be outside...can't blame them one bit! One of the teachers pointed out that the cold came quickly this year, so we haven't had time to toughen up to it yet. I don't know if I want to toughen up!

We're getting hammered with lake effect snow here where I live in MI. My poor husband had to shovel this morning and the driveway and walkway need it again. We stayed in today because it's so dang cold out and the babies don't have warm enough outer wear.

I'm sorry but why is your 17 year old going to Hawaii without you? Isn't there some kind of right that a parent gets to go on all cool vacations?! lol

Ahhhh yes but if you were my dysfunctional family, you would have all gone together. lol My parents talk more now than they did when they were married. As a matter of fact my dad came over to Indy to move her and spent the night. lol Not sure how that flies with my step-mom but it works for them.

LOL - we're pretty dysfunctional here too! My boys (16 &14) bowl on a bowling league, and have been for 3 years now. We've also gone to out of town tournaments the last few years also. Last year, my ex (their dad) decided he was going to go too. My wonderful youngest son offered to let him ride with us. Of course he took him up on it. So, last spring, I got to spend the entire weekend with my ex (who I only tolerate for the sake of my boys). We did everything together.....all weekend.....all meals together, 1 1/2 hour car ride each way, watching them bowl, etc. And the worst of it is, he's already talking about our "weekend get-away" this year!!!

ha, that's funny! my ex used to ride a bike all the time (for fun) and i'd tell him i hope he got hit by a car
he even told me he wrote a letter and gave it to a family member so if he ever died they would know to question me

now it's like a distant memory. i still take every chance i can get to throw a jab at him, but i no longer want him to die

Lol. Anymore I just live my life and focus on how good I've got it now. "she" can deal with him. Lol. I am getting the better end of the deal. Even of I don't get to go to Hawaii. Lol

Haha ahhh yes, we are dysfunctional at the greatest. Well to add fuel to the fire my step-mom is who my dad cheated on my mom with and eventually left her for. SOOOO, needless to say my mom was over him before all that happened. lol

2 hour school delay this morning! Roads are fine so who knows what this little town is thinking.

-9 degrees (no idea what the windchill is.... does it even matter anymore after you get in the negatives?!?!) and no chance of even single digits this week.....Most my gas is used up on letting the car warm up...Brrrrr. Thank goodness for heated seats!! I'd be happy with zero right now!!

I am posting my lame troubles right now- I was late this morning because of foggy windows. Because it was about 48-50 outside, and my defrost wasn't working fast enough.
Just for being a brat and posting that, tomorrow I promise to run around outside in my skivvies at 6:00 am for 10 seconds!

I don't know if this picture will show up or not or if you can make out what it is but it is my 200lb St. Bernard balancing on a rock (like a circus bear on a ball) looking in my living room window begging to come in the house last night! The temps were like -10 below zero. He has a long thick curly coat and a heated dog house! He has NEVER been in the house so I don't know what his problem was!!!

I love this picture. My great dane makes his teeth chatter I swear just so he can come in after 2 seconds of being out.

Isnt it funny how they do that. I dont know if they are that cold or just know how to pull on my heart strings. The great dane's teeth chatter and the 2 two cocker spaniels do what your dogs does.
