15 month old DCB I interviewed last week was due to start today! 
On Saturday mom called and said he had a fever and she wasn't sure what was going on but she would keep me updated. Yesterday she called and said fever was down back to normal but she was keeping an eye on him (and wished me a happy mothers day)
This morning she texted me and said he had a temp of 101.4 and she would not be bringing him! Did I hear that right? She followed my illness policy to the T and knew not to bring her sick baby?
I knew they were keepers

Its his first time being sick so she is very worried

So glad for you breezy. It's great to enroll a new DCK but a bonus when the parents not only get the rules but follow them as well. Yay for you.

That's great! Not that he's sick, of course, but rule following on the first day is always a great sign. I hope she keeps it up!
