Angry 2nd Chance, Bad Babysitter

"An Ohio babysitter was arrested after children under her care were found badly injured, police said. The children's grandmother left the three children in the care of a family friend, Destinie Preston, on June 27 and, when she picked them up June 30, they were covered in bruises. The children -- ages 1, 2, and 4 -- were taken to a hospital. The 1-year-old had fractures on her back. The 2-year-old had welts and bruises on his arms, back and face. An examination indicated the bruises on the 4-year-old were caused by a belt.

“The sight of their bodies and his head -- they’re 2 and 4,” their grandmother told WCMH. “What can possess you to beat on a 2-and 4-year-old?”

Preston was involved in a similar incident in May 2018. In that incident, Preston let a 2-year-old play outside for two hours unsupervised with other children. The toddler suffered fractures to his spine as well as bruising and swelling. Charges were filed, but an arrest warrant was never served, WCMH reported. https://www.wsbtv.com/news/trending-...vimQxWHExJ2_vk

Absolutely rediculous she was not arrested. Anytime any kids get hurt even so much as a scratch their parents are told when picked up and told how it happened. I feel so bad for those kids the only age I will let outside without me is 7 and it’s for a few minutes I don’t trust it. I don’t know how anyone could do that to a poor defenseless child.

I wish I could adopt these poor kids left in these atrocious situations.

Shows how much the justice system values children.

...when there is no federal money at risk...

Fixed it for you.

Can you imagine what the first responders must be feeling?

There was just a 1 year old murdered here 2 days ago. The baby's mother's boyfriend poored boiling water on the child. Makes me absolutely sick and horrified. He just got out of prison like 6 months ago for unarmed robbery.

Horrific

We just had a local shaken baby death. Mother was charged, though.
