I live in Florida and recently found out about something called a private daycare that doesnt need to be licensed or registered. I cant find any information about if this is legal in Florida. Im also wondering what the fines are if one was caught running an unlicensed/unregistered daycare?

i don't know about the term private daycare, but i know in TN you can keep 4 kids without having to be licensed. maybe by private the mean not licensed? i dunno.

when i was getting started, i went to tn.gov and the DCS site had all the regulations on their website about the different types of daycares, how many kids each could have, etc.
