What do you guys do when you have children with behaviors they are picking up from older children.

We constantly go over rules, the kiddos have all been here 2-3 years so the definetly know the rules.

It seems as the older siblings go through a "new" behavior, so do the little ones.

Now I don't mean by 2 or 3 years older siblings, I have large gaps in siblings (some 9-16 years!) more.

I have one that picks up on older sibs behaviors too. I think they are about 7 years apart. I just remind them that we don't say/do that at mema's house and ignore after that (or at least I've been trying). Drives me batty. Not a lot of advice to share with you, but I can share my sympathy!

Thanks!

With such a vast age difference they pick up more the "teenage behaviors" more then anything.

With me dealing with three teenagers myself, I definetly do not need a 3/4 year old coping an attitude with me-

Oh I hear ya there! At least with your own you can ground them or take away all privileges. Dcks you can take away privileges at dc, but as soon as they go home, they get to do whatever they want.

Since the one that I have is the last and was hard to conceive, she rules the roost! Everything is her way or the highway. Don't know how they do it. She even came one day with a longer shirt on, but when she went to go potty came out with the bottom pulled thru the neck so it looked like a bikini top thingy (not sure if I just made any sense). Ah, ya, NO! YOU ARE 3!
