She can charge whatever the market allows.

As for being licensed or not, she invites interested parents to call with questions so call and ask.

It looks like a beautiful program!

Black. Doesn't she have to be licensed in Minnesota?

Yes, it sounds like she would have to be but she isn't required to list it on her ads/website.

Really, like with any service or product being sold a person can charge as much as others will pay. In my area no one would pay that much, because the economy isn't in that great of shape that people can afford to.

Did I read that right - you propose to them how much you're willing to pay? Interesting.

I do like the $100 late fee deposit.

I actually really like this kind of program and wish there were one around me. The tuition proposal thing is interesting, but I think that this kind of program is going to attract a clientele that values education over money so I bet they're doing okay.

I don't think the rate is that crazy, but the set up or wording of it all is super confusing. Supply fees, tuition, participation fee, 15 fee for paying monthly, deposit, enrollment fee, but alo parent proposal of tuition. It took me reading it a few times to figure out a general idea of what it would cost and honestly, I am still confused How about something more like it cost $xx to attend. period. If they use the money for stocking supplies, food or whatever, that is great, but I just find the ad to be too wordy. jmo

I want to send my DD to a forest kindergarten or a Waldorf school but I wouldn't be able to afford those prices in a thousand years

Maybe I'll hit the lottery.

So if after two weeks they decide that the school is not a good fit for your kid (or vice versa ) and they cancel your contract at that time, you're still on the hook for a full month's tuition?

That's kind of messed up.
