I've been reading some child/parenting books so I can understand the psychology of young children from different perspectives. I just finished the book "It's OK Not to Share" by Heather Shumaker and thought it was really interesting and that the points made in the book could be used in a daycare setting.

Have you read any books that have helped improve the quality of your daycare or deepened your understanding of your daycare children?

So far, most of my reading has been catchup to try to deal with challenging behaviors. Ross Greene's The Explosive Child, for instance. But I'd like to see what everyone else thinks should be standard reading!
