I bought my water table at a garage sale- I dont know the brand. We used it today- be prepared to change everyone's clothes afterwards. Otherwise, they really love water-play and will play for a long time

I've had several over the years, and they are worth every penny. We use ours all the time. I use it for a sensory table sometimes too.

We have this one, and DONT like it

The legs fall off easy, and the top part doesnt connect well.

My favorite one we have is this one

The legs are sturdy, and dont fall off. I've learned thru the years that the part the kids like the most is the part on the top where they dump water in the top, and it comes out the bottom. This seems to be the favorite feature for them.

This one is similar design, and I think would work just as well.

Thanks I was looking at the step 2 adjustable sand and Water table.

Do you like the just water tables the best? I was thinking of doing just one thing at a time so they are not making so much mud pies. But not sure

I have the step 2 naturally playful sand and water table. The kids love it! I agree, they get soaked/dirty by the time they are done. What I usually do is set up the baby pool, turn on the hose, and fill the water side of the table. I put the kids in their swimming suits and let them choose which activity to play with (usually alternating between all 3). Clean up is somewhat a pain. I try to scoop as much water out of the sand compartment as possible. Then I try to scoop as much sand out of the water compartment back into the sand. Then I empty the water and scoop any remaining sand back into the sand compartment and put the lid on.

I have the same one as spud912, and we LOVE it. The lid that ties on is great for outdoor play, the umbrella is awesome. We only use it for outdoor water play though. We have a sandbox for outdoor sand play.

My indoor sensory bins can range on what we're doing. I have very large clear bins that we use for water/sand/rice/anything really.

Yes! That is the one I was talking about. I couldn't get the picture to work though. I was talking to another lady and she said they put a little koolaid in the water to color it and make it smell good I thought that was a fun idea.

I have one very similar to this one only mine has a water wheel attachment instead of the "water slide" looking things and mine has a bin that sits up on top of the tower that you fill with water and it has a spicket on each side that you open and close which releases the water onto the waterwheel. It's both a sand and water table but I already have a sandbox so I don't use the sand side of it. My DS is only 1yo and he mixes the sand and water together anyway so I only add water to it on the water side and keep it as FAR away from the sand box as possible .

I keep the lid part of it on the sand side all of the time (like the picture shows) when the kids are using it so that they can use the water attachments and when we're all done we dump all of the water toys into the sand side and it works as a storage for those. Only the water side has a drain so right now I only fill the water side. As it gets hotter I may fill both sides so that more kids can play with it at the same time and then just tip the whole thing over to dump the water out. Right now I have the yard in centers and I limit 2 kids per center so that they learn to take turns and so they don't overcrowd which prevents fighting over stuff. I love this water table. It comes with an umbrella but I don't use it since I have the water table under a canopy.

My recommendation would be to buy a daycare centre quality grade water table. I've heard so many bad stuff about the others. I have one made my WePlay that was pretty pricey but it's really good. It's plastic on metal casters with locking wheels so it's easy to move around. It also has a drain spout with a screw on and off cap so it doesn't just pop open like some other ones. I also really like the lid because the water stays clean for a week (with a capful of bleach).

This is it. Although I 'only' paid $250 CDN for mine:

This is the one I have, I got it this past weekend for my daughters birthday(had a couple relatives go in on it. I don't need a sand one, as I have a huge sanbox. And the kids have LOVED it, I think its really cool, I love the diving board. Its a good size, yesterday 7 kids were playing on it at once, Most of the kids stayed dry, the only one that got wet was the 18 month old.
