Just found out on a child's last day that the child has had pneumonia for the past week. So is pneumonia contagious? Do I need to notify the other parents? I knew we had a cold going around. Everyone has had a terrible cold and cough. I can't believe they didn't tell me.

It can be...it depends on the cause of the pneumonia. What kind of parent would send their child to daycare with pneumonia? It's MISERABLE.

Bacterial Pneumonia IS contagious. I had it with 106 temperature. Can be dangerous.
