Attention those of you in the North Texas area! I just wanted to pass along an opportunity for your program if you were interested.
I've started a compassion network that will sponsor monthly events throughout the community.
I have some great dcps that participate in our current community events so I thought it would be great to open a network to invite all child care providers in the north Texas area.
It can turn out to be a total win-win. A great marketing tool to potential parents that you are a member of a community outreach network and even more importantly more people/resources to help out the community!
Feel free to check out the site and just pm or contact me off the site if you'd like to be added to the local child care members.

Since I actually don't know how many North Texas folks are on here, and I haven't heard from anyone yet, I'd love just general opinions on just the website and concept.
Do you think the site looks ok? Is there enough information to let people know what the network is and what they do?

Anything would be appreciated. Even the name of the group...nothing is concrete yet.
I'm just looking for any opinions before pushing forward and since it's geered to providers I couldn't ask for a better group of test subjects.

What were your thoughts on the organization and website? Something you'd be interested in joining and getting involved in? I live in a very small community that actually has its own hospitality team.
We are currently serving a family who is transporting their child back and forth to a hospital 30 miles away daily. It's a neat community to be a part of.
Beyond that, I can't stretch myself any further. Adopting a special needs child and running a business has me completely stretched too thin already at this point in time!

Sunflower Mama- Sorry, we had a busy busy day yesterday and I didn't see your post until today! I liked your website, and I think it's a wonderful program!
I think I might be interested in joining, but McKinney is a fairly decent drive for us. Frisco events might be doable for us, though. Could you PM me with more details; such as what events we might be able to participate in; and what role you are looking for us to fill when we join?

I am also in North Texas... 'VERY' NORTH TEXAS in fact...
Gainesville is the last town on I-35 before you cross the Red River over in to OKLAHOMA...
McKinney is atleast an hour from me... so I may have difficulty participating...but .. I am over here... and like your idea...
